Who we are
TOPEX is a vehicle export company based in the Republic of Korea. We help international importers, dealers and traders source used vehicles from the South Korean market and export them to their destination country. TOPEX acts as an export facilitator, sourcing partner and export coordinator, and is not necessarily the owner of the vehicles: most vehicles may be owned by Korean dealers, distributors or private sellers. Our role is practical and on the ground in Korea: finding the right vehicles, coordinating inspection, preparing export documentation and arranging shipping.
What we do
- Sourcing. We search the Korean market for vehicles that match your specification and budget.
- Inspection coordination. Optional, paid pre-purchase inspection (USD 150 per vehicle) so you can decide with better information.
- Export documentation. Preparation of the standard documents needed to export a vehicle from Korea.
- Shipping coordination. Arranging international shipping, typically from the Port of Busan, to your destination port.
How working with us is structured
You tell us what you are looking for; we confirm availability and price with the supplier (dealer, distributor or private seller). If you want extra assurance, we arrange an inspection. A reservation deposit is generally required before a vehicle is removed from the market and reserved for you — typical amounts start from USD 2,000 and vary by vehicle value, supplier requirements, transaction structure and destination country, and are generally non-refundable once the vehicle is reserved, purchased or committed to a supplier. We then handle purchase, export documentation and shipping. Payments are by bank transfer only.
What we are honest about
- TOPEX is not necessarily the owner of the vehicles; most may be owned by Korean dealers, distributors or private sellers.
- Availability is confirmed per vehicle with the supplier and can change before purchase — we do not guarantee it in advance.
- Reservation deposits are generally non-refundable once a vehicle is reserved, purchased or committed to a supplier.
- Inspection is a visual assessment only — not a mechanical certification, warranty or guarantee of future condition; hidden defects may exist and some systems may not be accessible.
- Freight rates are indicative and schedules may change; we do not promise fixed rates or delivery dates, and delays caused by carriers, ports, customs, weather or force majeure are outside our control.
- We comply with Korean export, banking and AML requirements, prepare accurate documents, and do not engage in invoice manipulation, document falsification or sanctions evasion. We may decline transactions that raise compliance or sanctions concerns.
