Pakistan is a right-hand-drive (RHD) market with one of the most restrictive used-car import regimes in the region — LHD personal vehicles are not permitted for general private import. There are narrow exceptions: the returning-resident scheme (returning Pakistani nationals can bring one personal vehicle with documented overseas residency), diplomatic imports, and project-specific commercial vehicles. The bulk of legitimate Korean LHD flow through Karachi is bonded transit to Afghanistan (LHD) via the Torkham land border.
